In particular, the 12 tips she gives to connect with your children over books is really interesting and relevant for busy parents. And now that our kids are back in school and the holiday’s are coming up, this is the perfect time to schedule some time to get together with their favorite (or new!) books.
Thanks to technology, many schools are now testing the concept of ‘flipped classrooms.’ The idea is simple: leverage technology to complete the one-way (boring) lecture at a time that is convenient for the student. I love the fall. For me, the season has always been the perfect time to really dig into a book and get back into reading regularly. As the days get shorter, the books usually get longer, and I quickly find myself back in the groove.
